Today we're talking all about how to reach those people that are already interested in your studio so that you can market to them on Facebook; on Instagram; all of those things. But, yeah that's it! How would you like to do that? Like, everybody tells me, "Facebook Ads aren't working for me. Instagram Ads don't work for me. How do I make them work for me?" Well, we're going to talk about that today.

I think this is an ongoing discussion because with social media always changing their algorithms and all  that good stuff. You’re trying to, they’re always kind of changing it to be more pay to play, right? So we’re always trying to say; figure out how can we make more use of our marketing dollars? How can we reach more people? You know, because literally only a very, very small percentage of people who follow you on social media actually see what you post, right? It’s all about, right now, it’s all about who’s getting the most comments; who’s getting the most responses; and those posts get bumped up to the top. I have no idea what the Instagram algorithm is, I don’t think anybody can figure it out. But, it’s all about engagement, right? It’s not necessarily if someone’s a fan of yours if they’re going to see what you’re doing unless they have chosen to follow you. So it’s a real big pain in there and you know what, right? So, how can we make sure that we’re talking to the people that are the most interested in us already, have shown that they’re interested on us and then reach back out them, market to them. Okay?

So, we’re going to talk today about the one must do when it comes to finding those who are interested in your studio, right? And then how are you going to use organic-free content to get them even more connected to your studio so that you aren’t spending so much on those Facebook and those Instagram ads, right? You’re getting more free marketing going on.

Who feels like Facebook ads aren’t working for them, or they’re not living up to the hype? You’re not getting the results you want and you have to spend a lot to get good results. Then, who maybe wants to get better results from their Facebook Ads, right? So, we all want to get as low cost per click, low cost per conversion from our Facebook ads. That’s kind of the standard for a successful Facebook Ad. So, how do we do that? Well first, we have to find those people that are already interested. And by doing that, we’re going to be reaching out to those who have already interacted with our posts; already maybe clicked on an ad that we have done in the past; they’re maybe already on our email list; or they visited our website.

Now, Facebook does really cool thing where they have something called a Pixel. Now, if you are familiar with the Pixel this is probably old news to you, but many of you probably are brand new to all this. So, a Facebook Pixel is a piece of invisible code that Facebook gives you. Each page has their own pixel and you install it on your website on every single page of your website. And like I said, it’s invisible so your visitors don’t see it and what it does is it tracks people who go to your website. So, you can find your pixel by going to your ads manager and clicking up in the upper left hand corner and drag across and there’s pixels there. And so find that code, you put it on every page of your website or you hire someone to do that for you if this is completely foreign. And then once you get it installed, you can start tracking visitors to your websites. So that’s the one must-do, you definitely need to have that right now if you’re going to be the most effective with reaching back out to those people.

But let’s say you’re looking at a lamp on Amazon or something like that, and you decided not to buy it. But you clicked that over to Google and there’s an ad in the right column for that lamp. And then you go on Facebook and there’s an ads squirrelling through for that lamp, or Instagram. So it’s like, it follows you, right? Now you probably aren’t going to get that advance with your targeting and everything. You’re not going to be reaching across different platforms to target people who visit your pixel. But that’s kind of an example of how you get tracked. When you visit one website, it follows you around. So the same thing as through with your Facebook Pixel as when people go to your website you can use Facebook’s Pixel tracking to send them ads later on when they’re on Facebook or when they’re on Instagram. So that’s just the quick explanation of how it is used. Once you have that pixel on your website, it’s going to start collecting all those visitors from that point on. So that’s why the sooner the better when it comes to getting that on your website.
